I continue to scan, organize and scrap photos from our childhood, and when I was looking through my vintage photos yesterday these two unrelated shots from 1969 lept out at me. They make me SO happy and grateful that Phil and I are so close in age (13.5 months). Look at what good friends we were, even then.
The top photo was taken in our living room in September, and the bottom one was taken on Mom and Dad’s bed in December. Here we are, not quite two and three years old, forming our bond—our lifelong friendship. My relationship with my brother is truly one of my greatest blessings.
I created this layout based on the following fabulous PageMaps sketch and am entering it in their Webster’s Pages sketch contest.

Janice this is so beautiful!! How lucky you are to have pics from your childhood, I don’t have any really, my parents died when I was young and I have no idea what happened to photos, I am sure my brother and I have pics like that somewhere, this is why I scrapbook…so my kids will never have to wonder what happened in the photos, they will always have the story…you did a great job with the sketch, I love the color combo… 🙂
this is such a sweet layout, nicely done!

And I thought BFF meant best female friend! Jani, you are always teaching me, even when you may not expect it. With these photos, just think of all the moments we had that we cannot recall. It’s like from someone else’s story. It looks fun, though. Thanks for this lovely page, sis.
