Happy Phileas Fogg Day!
Did you read “Around the World in Eighty Days” as a child? Well, I remember my brother reading and loving it when we were kids. So, when I learned that today is Phileas Fogg Day (in honor of the book’s main character), I had to make him a card in the style of the time. Because he is starting a new job tomorrow, I made it a congratulations card. Good luck tomorrow morning, Philly!

Well thank you wholeheartedly, Janice. Jules Verne was a winner for a young boy seeking to expand his imagination. I read at least three of his forward-looking novels. And the books are always better than any movie adaptations. I assume this lovely card will arrive any day in my wood-and-steel mailbox, along with that vintage Pentax polarizing filter. Cannot wait.
