I figure if my mom thought taking pictures of us while potty training would be cute, then my layout using those photos would by default also be cute! 😉
I hope no one is grossed out by the idea, but I actually think these photos are pretty darling. I am putting my potty time to good use by applying imaginary cream to my legs (1968), and Phil is—of course—reading a magazine (1970).
Product/technique notes
I was inspired twofold on this project. I used the sketch below from My Scraps & More. And I used elements from Paper Issue’s mood board right below the sketch (the circles; the all caps lettering; and the citrus slices, which inspired my twine pie chart effect)!
Most of the products I used are from Pink Paislee’s “Switchboard” 6×6 paper pad with some chipboard from Crate Paper. I cut the title on my Silhouette.
I’m not grossed out at all; very cute theme and your papers work wonderfully with the photos! I ADORE your twine pie chart embellishments – super cool effect! So glad you played along with us this month at My Scraps & More sketches 🙂
