I have some nice news to share today. I was on the PageMaps blog catching up with Becky Fleck’s last few posts, and there was her announcement that my layout, You know I read it in a magazine, had won the sketch contest I created it for.
She wrote: “Congratulations to Janice Daquila-Pardo, winner of the Sweethaven sketch contest! Courtney and I both loved her retro page, all the way down to the faded photos and awesome journaling. Great job, Janice!”
It’s such a thrill to see that kind of news, isn’t it? So I wanted to share my pleasure with you because it’s always nice to have our creative work recognized.
