To all a good night card

November 6, 2022 By Janice Daquila-Pardo 1 Comment

The story

I created this Christmas card to enter into the October “Merry Everything” challenge at Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero. I will also be sending it in to the HeroFest Holiday Cheer Card Drive to be donated to the Bay Area Rescue Mission in support of the homeless.

Product/technique notes

For this card, I stamped the images and sentiment from the “Holiday Silhouette” set from Indadinkado and ink blended the night sky using Distress Oxide inks in tumbled glass, faded jeans, and chipped sapphire.

Product/technique notes

I created this look with an emboss resist technique. I stamped and heat embossed the images from the Hero Arts “Origami Happy Holidays” set and then ink blended over them with three colors of Distress Oxide ink: evergreen bough, pine needles, and black soot. I fashioned the sentiment with a die and stamp from the Hero Arts “Joy Stamp & Cut” set.

Gratitude fall card by Janice

The story

I really enjoyed making this Thanksgiving card, which I’m entering in the Pinkfresh Studio October fall leaves challenge.

Product/technique notes

I stenciled and die cut the leaves with Pinkfresh Studio’s “Fall Foliage” set and Distress Oxide inks, stamped and fussy cut the pinecone from Jen Hadfield’s “Warm & Cozy” stamp set, stamped and ink blended the woodgrain background from Honey Bee Stamps and die cut it with a Pinkfresh Studio mini slimline die, and stamped and embossed the sentiment with a Making Memories set from 2009!
