Because I am participating in National Novel Writing Month for the first time this November, Matt and I attended the Texas Book Festival in downtown Austin. It was the 20th anniversary of the festival this October, and we spent a lovely day down at the Capitol among book lovers and enjoying beautiful weather.
Product/technique notes
I am participating in the ScraptoberFest challenges, and with this page I have created a layout combining all (4) challenges on one layout for a chance to win the BONUS prize! I created it using papers from Crate Paper’s Notes & Things and BasicGrey’s Fiction collections. The flair is from BasicGrey’s Aurora collection. The washi tapes are both from Studio G. The frame is from another Crate Paper collection. And I designed the title to look like the Texas Book Festival logo and cut it on my Silhouette.
I live how you made this sketch your own! I have seen your nice work on sb.com too! tHanks for sharing at THE MEMORY NEST!
Fabulous layout and fantastic job on all (4) ScraptoberFest challenges! Thank you for playing along with Scrap Our Stash!
Amazing details on your page, I just kept looking and looking and spotting more and more. I love your repeated dates and the two spots of journalling combined with all those fab embellishments. Wonderful scrapping! Thanks for using the sketch from The Memory Nest.
always love how eyecatching your layouts are and how full of treasures they are! Love that BG collection (I own it too)-people don’t realize the versatility of it! Kate (CY)
